I’m getting ready to replace my TS badge. Which one one of these would look best. Original picture also included.

Out of curiosity, is there any meaning to the colors, or is it purely cosmetic?
I know in the early 2000s, VW TDI badges were like this:
All silver: 100 hp or less
Red I: 110-115 hp
Red DI: 130 hp
Red TDI: 150 hp
Green DI: 60 hp (in the Lupo 3L, which got under 3.0 l/100 km)

I like the double red, but then it just looks like a backwards Focus ST badge. I say silver and red.

What does TS stand for? If the letters are part of a single phrase (like GT is), then I think they need to be the same color. But if T and S have distinctly separate meanings (like the R in GT- R ) then I guess it’s okay to mix it up.

I’ve never been able to find out what it stands for. It’s got 93 horsepower stock compared to 64 in the non-TS version. It has a CVT with a sport function that shifts at around 6K RPM, and it has Type-R design language and shares its steering wheel with the Integra Type-R. I don’t know much more than that.

No, actually, if you look at the VIN plate, it says Type-TS. Type-S is a Honda/Acura thing, but I think if it actually included Type as some do, it would say Type-TS not Type-S with T being Type in TS. But... who knows?

No, there were basically only two models. The 64HP version had no trim at all. The TS version had all the trim. Sportic TS had AWD, too.
What annoys me is that you couldn’t get the manual transmission in the TS/Sportic TS versions, only in the base model. I don’t know what would happen if I tried swapping the 5-speed manual into the TS version. I bet the ECU wouldn’t like that.

That actually makes me think “Touring Sport” might be right - all the equipment for touring, and some sport, too?
And that might explain the badge coloration - silver T for touring, red S for sport?
I was using Honda’s archive (of 2001 trim levels) to try to figure out what was going on, though (I rammed it through Google Translate, not knowing any Japanese): http://www.honda.co.jp/auto-archive/logo/5door2001/equipment/index.html
Problem is, 2001, they used G, L, Sportic, and Sportic TS as the trims (with Sportic TS being FWD-only, everything else being FWD or AWD). L vs. TS doesn’t make sense for my idea...

I have a 2000. In 2000, there was a TS that wasn’t Sportic and a Sportic that wasn’t a TS and a Sportic TS. I have the TS non-Sportic version, I think I finally figured that out.
I think Sportic/Sportic TS is a GA5 and TS/base is a GA3. Incidentally, Honda City is GA1/GA2.

The archive page is basically saying GA3 is FWD, GA5 is AWD, though, regardless of trim level.

That’s the 2001 model, not the 2000 model, though. It may be a 2000 page, but that is definitely the 2001.

Ah, looks like 2000.5 was a facelift, and that’s what’s going on.
I think I’m gonna punt and follow Volkswagen rules on this, even though this is a Honda. Red S if you leave it at stock power, red TS if you upgrade the power (I think you were going to?)

Yeah, I’m planning to do some engine work or even a swap eventually. I’m not sure yet what I can do. The only thing I’ve done so far is remove the air baffling system. Not only does it sound better, but the air intake is significantly less anemic now. There was a definite power improvement on the front end.
